Call me a Black president basher if you like. But Obama is a politician...bottom line. Since when has ANY president done anything for YOU? This one will do for YOU what all the other one's before him have done...nothing but play politics. You are making excuses for him when you say that if he supports Reparations publicly he could be considered a radical. Odd why he is not considered a radical for publicly supporting the American Indian.
Get this...recently Obama was in Iowa making a speech. He made several references to his favorite past president - Lincoln. Then he said that Lincoln "freed the captives." That phrase was an insult to Black America, and all of our ancestors. How much of a hero will this man be when he won't even acknowledge the word's, slave and slavery, in his public dialogue.
Indeed, in spite of all of our optimistic comments about Obama he will be smart enough to continue to avoid initiating any meaningful progress for Black people who's ancestors literally built America, and received no pay for it, period.
